I'm not one for mayhem and chaos, but I made an exception for the Birds' Super Bowl win. I took to Broad Street about three minutes shy of the final whistle. The win was long secured, but you know, superstitions and all. As expected, the City's fanaticism was on full display - photography gold. Days later, I was back on Broad Street, perched on a plastic traffic barrier, angling for a decent view of the incoming parade. The long-awaited caravan of players rolled by, and with it, an unbelievable energy that made the hours-long wait and frozen toes worthwhile. Like they say, "pics or it didn't happen."
